Pricing

All prices shown on the site include VAT.  We constantly review our pricing but reserve the right to amend prices shown on the site without notice.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already accepted.

In the event of a price error we are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price even after we have sent you an Order Confirmation

 

Delivery

Delivery will be made as soon as possible and is largely dependant on the item purchased.  We aim to deliver within 3 working days of receiving your order but please note that some deliveries may take up to 10 working days.  Please feel free to contact us for exact delivery timescales.  Items outside of mainland UK (including Northern Ireland) will only be delivered once a cost and timescale has been agreed prior to purchase.  Please note there are also post codes in Scotland which our carrier will charge us an additional £5.99 for delivery and we will add this charge to orders for post codes (AB,DD,FK,HS,IV,KA,KW,KY,ML,PA,PH,TD). Please contact the team on 01942 819808 to discuss any requirements or you may have relating to delivery timescales.

 

Deliveries are carried out by our own transport, independent carriers or by the manufacturers themselves. This may result in the items not all being delivered at the same time but we are happy to discuss any delivery timescales.

There will be occasions beyond Love Sinks control which may cause delay to your delivery.  Love Sinks will not be held responsible for any such delays and will endeavor to keep you updated of any potential delivery delays.

No responsibility for delays relating to matters outside of our control i.e. industrial action by postal workers or holidays whether it be within or outside the UK will be taken by ourselves.

Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only, and the time of delivery is not of the essence.

If the Supplier fails to deliver the Goods, its liability shall be limited to the costs and expenses incurred by the Customer in obtaining replacement goods of similar description and quality in the lowest cost market available, less the price of the Goods.

Acceptance

If delivery of the goods is not accepted within 3 (three) business days of the supplier notifying that the goods are ready for delivery, then, except where such failure or delay is caused by a Force Majeure Event or the Supplier’s failure to comply with its obligations under the Contract:

a.) delivery of the Goods shall be deemed to have been completed at 9.00 am on the third Business Day after the day on which the Supplier notified the Customer that the Goods were ready; and the Supplier shall store the Goods until delivery takes place, and charge the Customer for all related costs and expenses (including insurance).

b.) If 10 Business Days after the day on which the Supplier notified the Customer that the Goods were ready for delivery the Customer has not accepted delivery of them, the Supplier may resell or otherwise dispose of part or all of the Goods [and, after deducting reasonable storage and selling costs, account to the Customer for any excess over the price of the Goods or charge the Customer for any shortfall below the price of the Goods.

Warranty

All items purchased are covered by the manufacturers warranty unless otherwise stated.  After installation the product is covered by the manufacturers guarantee.  Any installation errors will not be covered by Love Sinks.

We shall not be liable for a breach of the warranty if:

A defect arises because you fail to follow our oral or written instructions as to the storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Products or (if there are none) good trade practice; or you alter or repair such Products.

Returns / Damaged Goods

All orders can be cancelled up to the delivery date and within fourteen days of receiving the goods. This must be actioned by email or in writing. The goods must be returned in the condition supplied with the original packaging supplied an in an unused state. The goods are returned at your own expense and Love Sinks will not offer any refund for shipping costs, if the return is due to a faulty or damaged item we will arrange for this to be collected and Love Sinks Limited will pay the return postage costs. If the item is not damaged or faulty and Love Sinks makes the collection arrangements we will deduct the return postage costs from any refund issued. The refund will be actioned within 14 days of receiving the goods back to our warehouse. If payment is made by cheque or postal order the refund will be by cheque and the cheque will be sent within 14 days.

 

Inspection On Delivery

Please inspect the goods as soon as possible once delivered.  Any damages or faults must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.  This does not affect any guarantee from the manufacturer.

 

Installation And Fitting

We do not offer an installation service and the price quoted is for purchase and delivery.  No liability will be accepted for damages or errors caused whilst fitting or if the item is used.

 

Cancellation

All orders can be cancelled upto the delivery date and within seven days of receiving the goods.  This must be actioned by phone, email or in writing.  The goods must be returned in perfect condition with the original packaging and in an unused state.  The goods are returned at your own expense and Love Sinks will not offer any refund for shipping costs.  If Love Sinks makes the collection arrangements we will deduct the cost from any refund issued.  The refund will be actioned within 30 days of receiving the goods back to our warehouse.  If payment is made by cheque or postal order the refund will be by cheque and the cheque will be sent within 30 days.

 

Payment

We accept credit or debit card payments via the website only.  Full payment will be taken and a receipt emailed.  The transaction will show on a card/bank statement as Love Sinks Limited.

We can accept payment by cheque or postal order and if you would like to contact us on 01942 819808 we will be happy to discuss these transactions and the timescales involved.

 

Descriptions

All goods described on the website and all technical documents are to be used as a guide only.  No preparation work should be done based on the information contained within this site and Love Sinks Limited accepts no liability for such actions.  The information contained within these web pages is for a guide only and we would recommend awaiting delivery of your purchased items before carrying out any installations or preparation work.

 

Accuracy

All items are described using specifications or details obtained from various sources and the website is as accurate and current as possible but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information contained within the site.  The website and information within and how this is used is the sole responsibility of the user.

 

Privacy Policy

We will only collect the information required to process your order and will not email you in the future without your consent.  We may email you in relation to your current order but this will not be a marketing email.

We will not share your email address with anyone other companies.

Only your name, address, phone number and email address will be provided to Love Sinks Limited and all credit card details are held securely by Sagepay.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
  • To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.
  • To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. Lovesinks Ltd will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our this site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by Lovesinks Ltd, and when you report a problem with our site.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Lovesinks Ltd may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders.
  • Details of your visits to our site [including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise] and the resources that you access.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).

A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action (whether or not relating to our workforce); civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, adverse weather conditions or other natural disaster or acts of God; impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; and the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of any Contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us, whether oral or in writing.

Right to Vary These Terms and Conditions

We have the right to revise and amend these Terms from time to time in order to, without limitation, reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods and changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

You will be subject to the policies and Terms in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these Terms are required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these Terms before we send you the Order Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the Terms, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven (7) working days of receipt by you of the Products).

Third party rights.

A person who is not a party to the Contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with it.

 

Love Sinks accepts no liability for the information provided through this site whether obtained directly or indirectly.  Love Sinks will not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the use of information contained in this site.

Law
